About Me
I am a landscape and architecture artist who works primarily with acrylic paint on canvas. I enjoy this medium more because it dries faster allowing for sharper edges and more vibrant colours. I draw inspiration for my pieces from my life as an immigrant moving from country to country when I was growing up. I am now a Manchester based artist, finally having returned to my country of nationality after being born in Germany and moving consistently up until the start of my university career, 4 years ago.
I have had the immense privilege of living in many different places such as France, Germany, the U.S. and Japan, and experiencing complex cultures and meeting beautiful people. Painting these places from my past helps me reconnect with those memories and acts as a 'postcard' for my life.
